Luxury Fob Replacement

Stellar specializes in replacing keys/fobs and programming spares for foreign-made, luxury vehicles such as BMW, Jaguar, Lexus and Volkswagen. This involves a wide variety of technically advanced, high-security chipped keys and/or factory keyless entry devices. Some examples are:

Laser Keys: Because the grooves are internal, these keys are highly secure, but a special machine is required to cut them. Stellar has this machine onboard.

Switchblade Keys: Mainly used by Audi and Volkswagen, these keys also use the laser key technology of internal grooves for high security. In addition, they feature a push-button, “switchblade” type of action used to expose the key from the fob.

Tibbe Keys: Ford and Jaguar use these as essentially “switchblade” keys, except that the key portion is an extended metal shaft that resembles a drill bit. They are exceptionally high-security keys.

Fobiks: Chrysler uses these exclusive devices, which are totally electronic. The small key that fits inside the “Fobik” is only to be used in case of an emergency to enter the car.

Prox Keys/Cards: These are proximity keys that can start your car, even if they’re still in your pocket. These keys don't look like an actual key with a silver blade, they more resemble the remote key fob portion. 

Exclusive to Nissan, “intelligent keys/I-Key" can be referred to as smart key, keyless go, Smart Access, My Key and Fast Key.
