Meet the Staff

Cory Schmidt – is the CEO of Stellar Keys and Remotes. As a leader in the Automotive and Commercial Locksmith Industry, he has over 15 years of experience in the business. Cory is an active member of The Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA), The Better Business Bureau and is listed on angieslist.com. He stays current with the latest automotive security technology and attends classes and training to keep up with industry advancements.

Cory realized his calling as a professional locksmith back in 1996, after surviving a 5-story fall to the ground at a construction site where he was employed at the time. During his recovery, Cory had the opportunity to work as a valet for a local restaurant. The valet company owner also owned a locksmith company, and he introduced Cory to the art of locksmithing.

Tim – Is Stellar Keys and Remotes, Lead Automotive Technician. Tim’s been with Stellar Keys and Remotes for over 10 years and has 12 years experience in the industry. Tim is considered the “Work Horse” of the Automotive Team.

Scott - Is Stellar Keys and Remotes, Automotive and Residential Tech. Scott’s been with Stellar 8 years. Scott’s also known as the “Night Owl" of the team, he manages the overnight and weekend calls. He’s considered the Tech that keeps Stellar moving through the night.

Ed - Is Stellar Keys and Remotes, Lead Commercial Tech or better known as “Fast Eddy.” Ed’s been with Stellar for 5 years, however comes to Stellar with over 25 years experience as a Locksmith. Specializing in Heavy Duty Commercial work, has definitely earned the name “Fast Eddy”, impressing customers with his knowledge and efficiency.

Kim - Is Stellar Keys and Remotes Operations Manager. Kim’s been with Stellar 2 years, managing the billing department, customer questions via e-mail and the Stellar Keys and Remotes website. She keeps the office running.

Wade – Is the newest member to Stellar Keys and Remotes. Wade will be managing the Warehouse Department. He brings to Stellar Keys and Remotes 3 plus years of experience in warehouse experience. When he’s not working the warehouse, he’s our newest Technician in training.

Alex - has been with Stellar Keys and Remotes for over 5 years. Alex has played a vital part with Stellar Keys and Remotes. Some of you might have had the chance to meet Alex while on a call with his Dad Cory. Currently we are moving him out of the office and warehouse and he is our latest Locksmith in training!

Chip - has been selected by our team as the new “Head of Marketing.” Chip knows all and tells all about Stellar Keys and Remotes. He’ll lead you through the simple steps of our process and keep you up-to-date with news and information about new products or services and upcoming events.

Don
